• Newly-Created Position! Compliance & BSA Assistant - Presque Isle

This position is responsible for assisting the AVP of Compliance & BSA. In addition, the selected candidate will perform various quality control reviews and monitoring in the area of the Bank Secrecy Act, USA Patriot Act, Anti-Money Laundering, OFAC, and Customer Identification Program Compliance with industry standards and regulatory guidance.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify and investigate suspicious activity (Red Flags) and decide on further action if appropriate.
  • Complete, file and save suspicious activity reports.
  • File and save necessary BSA reports.
  • Identify, complete, file and save Currency Transaction Reports.
  • Identify fraud and assist when fraud is suspected.
  • Schedule appropriate updates and review of policies.
  • Update policies in Policy Pro and notify staff.
  • Monitor fraud alerts in SimpliRisk.
  • Review OFAC reports and potential matches.
  • Review, upload, save and verify FinCEN 314(a) case information.
  • Monitor changes in laws, regulations and trends; maintain files and share information with the appropriate departments.
  • Review and update Risk Assessments.
  • Conduct BSA training for staff and volunteers.
  • Develop and implement procedures when necessary.
  • Assist in miscellaneous credit union projects as needed and requested.
• Newly-Created Position! Consumer Loan Processor I - Presque Isle

This newly-created position is primarily responsible for processing consumer loans post-closing to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance, which includes documentation review, perfection of liens, filing of UCCs, verification of Insurance coverage, and submitting and tracking applications for automobile titles. Secondary responsibilities include processing of paid loans, title and loan security management, document imaging and other loan operational duties as assigned. • Newly-Created Position! Training & Development Associate - Presque Isle

This newly-created position is responsible for assisting in the conducting of all credit union training programs for all staff and serving the training needs of the credit union. The individual is responsible for communicating the credit union’s mission, vision, and philosophy to new staff members. Reporting to the Training & Development Coordinator, this individual must have excellent interpersonal skills as well as the ability to pursue their work with energy and focus.

  • Conducts new employee orientation training, including reviewing policies and procedures.
  • Assists in employee training on existing products and services as assigned as well as new products and services as they are developed.
  • Maintain a calendar of employee training events and notify management of those that have not been completed.
  • Delivers employee soft skills training, including member service, conflict resolution, time management, effective communication, leadership, team building, and education (sales) skills.
  • Schedules training sessions, ensuring facility setup, audiovisual setup, and contacts attendees and department managers regarding training schedules.
  • Perform administrative duties in the BAI Learning Platform, including resetting employees’ passwords as requested, assigning monthly tasks to employees and volunteers in BAI, and assigning BAI assessments to employees as requested. Update all training application databases and the BAI website with employee personnel additions, terminations, and position changes.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

• Chief Financial Officer (CFO) - Presque Isle

The County is seeking an experienced, self-motivated executive to lead the accounting and finance department of the credit union. As a key member of the executive team based in Presque Isle, Maine, the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will report to the President/CEO and assume a strategic role in assisting with the overall management of The County Federal Credit Union.

The CFO will have primary day-to-day responsibilities for planning, budgeting, implementing, managing and controlling all financial activities of the credit union. This includes but is not limited to, the direct responsibility of accounting, forecasting, financial strategic planning, asset-liability management and investments.

The qualified candidate should have 7+ years of experience in oversight in a finance-related field, have strong analytical and critical thinking skills, exceptional management and communication abilities, a proven history in financial management, and a CPA designation is preferred.

• Head Teller - Houlton

The County Federal Credit Union is seeking an energetic, enthusiastic individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced supervisory role as Head Teller in our Houlton location. The successful applicant must enjoy working with the public, motivating and challenging staff in a professional and positive environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Receive and process member financial transactions including but not limited to deposits, withdrawals and loan payments; sell money to members; transfers.
  • Balance Cash drawer and daily transactions.
  • Provide routine information concerning services and direct members to the appropriate departments for specific information and service.
  • Schedule and monitor daily activity of Member Relations Specialists (Tellers).
  • Train, direct, and evaluate employee performance on Member Relations Specialists line.
  • Identify performance problems and take action to correct.
  • Monitor Member Relations Specialists line for compliance with established policies and regulations; take action to resolve any compliance issues.
  • Order and maintain the cash and coin vault as well as balance and maintain the ATM.
  • Complete monthly Branch Security Report.
  • Promote credit union products and services.
  • Other duties assigned by management.
