• Full-time Member Service Center Representative - Caribou

The County Federal Credit Union is seeking an energetic and positive person with the desire to help members and provide them with great service! We have a Full-Time Member Service Center Representative position available in the Caribou branch.

The ideal candidate will resolve members’ questions and concerns during the first contact whenever possible. This role requires effective phone communication while maintaining in-depth knowledge of all products and services. • Branch Manager - Old Town

The County Federal Credit Union has an opening for a Full-Time Branch Manager/Loan Officer in the Old Town branch.

The right candidate must be able to efficiently lead the day-to-day operations of a branch. Assist in the training and supervision of staff and meet established goals. Promote a positive culture through coaching, guidance, and staff motivation. Interact with members on escalated issues, utilize resources, and provide resolutions within their authorization level.

The ability to motivate or influence others is the material part of the job and requires a significant level of diplomacy and trust. Outside contacts become important, and fostering sound relationships with other entities, companies, individuals, and groups is necessary.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  1. Underwrite consumer and mortgage loans to established lending limits as assigned.
  2. Hire, review, schedule, train, and monitor the work of Branch personnel.
  3. Solicit new residential mortgages, consumer and commercial business loans, and cross-sell CFCU loans and deposit products to meet member quality standards.
  4. Network in the Old Town community to develop new long-term, mutually beneficial relationships, promoting the credit union’s products and services to increase deposits, consumer, real estate, and small business loan relationships through a consultative selling approach.
  5. Respond to Member inquiries and referrals. Conduct interviews with prospective borrowers in order to analyze financial and credit data, determine customer financing objectives, advise customers of product/pricing policies and guidelines, and gather any additional required information.
  6. Monitor Branch operating results relative to established objectives and ensure appropriate steps are taken to correct unsatisfactory conditions.
  7. Ability to step in and perform the essential duties of all branch personnel in their absence, including occasional closing shifts and weekend shifts when needed.
  8. Ability to perform Notarial Acts.
  9. Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Ensure employees meet goals and educate members on appropriate products and services. Actively train on updates and changes to policies and procedures and ensure compliance. Must have excellent organizational, oral, and written communication skills. This position entails reviewing and processing applications for various loans, including consumer, mortgage, and home equity.
