Broke Ground for a new Mars Hill Branch

October 18, 2019– The County Federal Credit Union held a ceremonial ground breaking for the new 1375 square foot branch at One Benjamin Street in Mars Hill this morning. As Ryan Ellsworth, President and CEO, explained earlier this year, “We’ve been looking for the opportunity to expand within our current field of membership and the Mars Hill community has the best opportunity. Once we heard a convenient location at the corner of Route 1 and Route 1A intersection was going to be available, we knew it would be a great location for our new branch. After taking the summer to plan and consider various options for the building, we have decided on a design that fits our needs. The opening of the new branch will be sometime early summer 2020”

At today’s ground breaking was, left to right: Lori Michaud, Central Aroostook Chamber of Commerce, David Cyr, Mars Hill Town Manage, Jesse Chase, General Contractor, Buildings Etcetera, Shawn Anderson, Chairmen of the Board, The County Federal Credit Union, Ryan Ellsworth, President and Chief Executive Officer, The County Federal Credit Union, John Folsom, Board Member, The County Federal Credit Union and Harry Smith, Equipment Operator for Soderberg Construction.
