Presque Isle, ME- June 27, 2019 – The County Federal Credit Union recently awarded $1,000 scholarships to graduating seniors within the credit union’s field of membership. At the presentation in the front row: Grace Bemis from Presque Isle, Brennan Poitras from Caribou, Emily Michaud from Fort Fairfield. In the back row is: Shawn Anderson-Board Chairman, Austin Findlen from New Sweden, Cole Paterson from Mapleton, Maren Moir from Woodland, with Ryan Ellsworth, President and CEO.Absent from photo is Cassidy Coiley from Fort Fairfield, Jonah Hudson from Presque Isle, Sidney Sides from Houlton, and Abigail Dionne from Easton.The credit union philosophy of ‘People Helping People’ is alive and well at The County Federal Credit Union; over the past 22 years, The County has awarded over $106,000 in scholarship money to local students.
