Save on Fees
1. Have your paycheck or Social Security check deposited directly to your Credit Union account. Not only does it save you a trip to the Credit Union to deposit your check, it also guarantees that your funds will be in your account whether you are at home or across the country.
2. Handle as many transactions as you can by ATM, TellerPhone banking and online PC Connection / Home Banking. This saves you time and money, too, not to mention providing great convenience!
3. Maintain a high minimum balance not only to earn interest, but also to avoid a fee for dropping below the minimum balance requirement.
4. To check on acoount balances or to see if specific checks have cleared, use TellerPhone banking or our online PC Conncection / Home Banking. They're both quick, easy and convenient because they are available 24/7.
5. Use your Credit Union debit or ATM card to pay for as many purchases as you can, avoiding checks. This save money and time, too.
6. Make certain your checking balance is sufficient to cover your purchases, avoiding overdraft charges.
As you can see, we're on your side! These suggestons are actually common sense. And common sense usually wins out when it comes to altering your behavior to save on paying fees.
